What is Nic Salt (i.e. Salt Nicotine),
and is it right for you?

Salt nicotine is the latest craze throughout the vaping community and many eJuice manufacturers have recently introduced salt nicotine versions of their current eJuice flavoursor created new salt nic lines from scratch.

What's all the hype about?

Salt nicotine is a flavourless tobacco-derived nicotine that is less harsh on the throat and can be vaped at much higher levels than the freebase nicotine traditionally used in eJuice. The reason why salt nicotine has made such a huge impact on the vaping community is due primarily to the want for higher nicotine levels that produce the same effect as a cigarette and without the harshness found in freebase nicotine at higher concentrations.

The Benefits

Nicotine cravings satisfied after just a couple of puffs
~~~~~
Less eJuice consumed = significant cost savings
~~~~~
Easier transition from smoking to vaping
~~~~~
Improved eJuice flavour
The Drawbacks
More difficult to reduce nicotine strength over time
~~~~~
Must be vaped in a mouth-to-lung fashion
~~~~~
Not for use with sub-ohm coils
~~~~~
More expensive

WARNING
Due to the increased nicotine concentration in salt nicotine eJuice, you may develop headaches, nausea or even faint if you vape salt nicotine
eJuices in the same way as you do your freebase nicotine eJuices.  You must limit the number of puffs you take as the effects of the nicotine will be greater and in a much shorter period of time.

Salt nicotine should not be allowed to come into contact with skin when filling or cleaning your tank / pod. If salt nicotine eLiquids come into contact with your skin, wash immediately with plenty of water and contact your doctor if any persistent irritation occurs. If you should happen to get salt nicotine eJuice in your mouth, rinse your mouth for at least 3 minutes and contact your doctor if any persistent irritation occurs. It is normal to feel a burning sensation when salt nicotine comes into contact with your skin or tongue. It is therefore highly recommended that you have a beverage or water close by should you need it whenever vaping a salt nicotine eJuice.
